Daddy Freeze
On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze has revealed why he walked out of Alex Ekubo’s service of songs.
He made the revelation during Instagram live over the weekend.

The late actor, Alex Ekubo’s service of songs was held last week Wednesday in Lagos state, with many celebrities, including gospel singers, pastors, Nollywood stars, Daddy Freeze and other personalities in attendance.
Revealing why he left while the ceremony was ongoing, Daddy Freeze in an Instagram video over the weekend, said the singer turned the funeral event into a concert.
While questioning Mercy’s understanding of a funeral, he asked “Does Mercy Chinwo not have soft music?”
“Mercy Chinwo climbed the pulpit and turned the place to a concert. At that point I got up and left. Does Mercy Chinwo not have soft music?
“Do you understand what a funeral is? The kind of music that should be played at a funeral is soft music. They should have just played hymns for like two hours, then I would have sat down there and enjoyed it. So at the time she was performing, I just got up and left.”

Gospel artistes that sang at the ceremony included Mercy Chinwo, Peterson Okopi, Moses Bliss, Ebuka songs, the Laud Urban Choir, among others.
