Alex Ekubo
Nigerian actor, model, entertainer and humanitarian, Alex Ekubo grew into one of Nollywood’s notable screen personalities through his roles in films, television productions and comedy projects.
Born on April 10, 1986, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the actor hails from Arochukwu in Abia State.
Known for his towering 6’2” frame and charismatic screen presence, Ekubo speaks English, Igbo and Hausa fluently.
Ekubo’s rise to prominence began in 2010 after he emerged first runner-up in the Mr Nigeria contest.
The competition served as a major turning point in his career, giving him visibility within the entertainment industry and opening doors in modelling and acting.
Following his breakthrough, the actor went on to feature in several successful Nollywood productions, gradually establishing himself as a familiar face in the industry.

Education:
Alexx Ekubo attended Federal Government College, Daura, Katsina State, for his secondary education. He later studied Law at the University of Calabar before obtaining a degree in Mass Communication from Calabar Polytechnic.
