Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, has explained why she is widely known for playing wicked and troublesome characters in movies.
Mama G said in a video shared on her Instagram page, that her intention has always been to draw attention to problems that exist in society rather than promote bad behaviour.
The veteran stated many of the issues portrayed in films are things that happen in real life but are often ignored, overlooked or hidden from public discussion.
According to her, she chose to take on such roles because she wanted to bring those realities to the screen and encourage people to confront them.
Ozokwor said that she was willing to use her acting career to expose social wrongs that many people prefer not to talk about.
