In the bustling heart of Lagos, under the warm embrace of divine purpose, Trinity House NG — a vibrant non-denominational worship centre at Zion Centre — celebrated a historic milestone: its 16th Anniversary.
Led by the visionary leadership of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the weeklong celebration (July 12–19, 2026) became far more than a series of events. It was a profound journey of reflection, gratitude, and renewed motivation — a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness through seasons of growth, challenges, and abundant harvest.
A Week of Worship, Word, and Wonder
The anniversary kicked off on July 12 with hearts already lifted in expectation. Throughout the week, the church family gathered daily for powerful sessions of prayer, teaching, and fellowship. Midweek brought a highlight many will never forget: a special service featuring renowned preacher Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock. His message stirred souls, calling believers to deeper purpose and unwavering trust in God’s timing.
The weeklong celebration was nearly marred by torrential rainfall and waist-high flooding that threatened to disrupt plans. Yet, through fervent prayers, the dedication of congregation members who are weather professionals, and the swift intervention of Lagos authorities, major disruptions were kept at bay. What could have been a setback became another testimony of God’s protective hand over His house.
Each day unfolded like chapters in a living testimony. Testimonies poured forth — stories of transformed lives, healed families, restored destinies, and businesses birthed through the ministry. Old members stood alongside new ones, reflecting on how Trinity House had been a spiritual home, a leadership incubator, and a beacon of hope for thousands since its humble beginnings 16 years ago.
Under Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s pastoral guidance, the emphasis remained clear: “It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. His leadership has consistently modeled humility, excellence, and a deep commitment to raising purpose-driven leaders and professionals who impact society for Christ.
The Grand Finale: A Thanksgiving Service to Remember
Sunday, July 19, 2026, marked the glorious crescendo — the Thanksgiving Service. The atmosphere was electric with joy, praise, and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit. Hands were lifted, voices roared in worship, and grateful hearts overflowed as the congregation celebrated 16 years of God’s goodness.
The service carried deep moments of reflection, particularly on the enduring impact of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s late wife, Ibiduni Ighodalo. Her legacy of compassionately helping couples with little or no hope of having children continues to bring joy to many homes today, a shining example of love in action that remains woven into the fabric of the ministry.
The service was further enriched by the presence of distinguished dignitaries and loved ones:
- The Olu Oke of Oke-Igbo, Oba Akintoye Felix Adeoye, and his queen (from Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s maternal homeland), whose royal presence added a beautiful layer of cultural honour and heritage.
- Pastor (Mrs.) Titi Akindayomi-Adewale, the first daughter of Pa Josiah Akindayomi, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
- Asue Ighodalo, prominent lawyer and former PDP Governorship candidate of Edo State.
- A stellar lineup of Nollywood icons, including veterans Joke Silva and Kate Henshaw, alongside other entertainment industry leaders.
