LOS ANGELES — Pop superstar Lady Gaga and her fiancé, tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child together, multiple sources confirmed Friday.
The news was first reported by Page Six, which also obtained exclusive photographs of the new family of three out for a stroll in Northern California.
In the images, Gaga, 40, is seen carrying the newborn close to her chest in a baby wrap while dressed casually in an oversized cardigan, patterned pants and sunglasses. Polansky, 42, walked alongside her in a hoodie, shorts and baseball cap. Gaga’s agent was also present during the outing.
Additional details, including the baby’s name, sex and exact date of birth, have not been publicly disclosed. Representatives for the singer did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The couple, who began dating in 2019 after being introduced by Gaga’s mother, Cynthia Germanotta, became engaged in April 2024. Gaga publicly referred to Polansky as her fiancé during the Paris Olympics that summer. Their relationship deepened during the COVID-19 lockdown, when they spent extended time together at her Malibu home.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has long spoken openly about her desire to become a mother. In earlier interviews she expressed hopes of having children and building a family life similar to the one she experienced growing up. More recently, in 2025, she told interviewers that becoming a mom was her top priority and that Polansky would make “a beautiful father.” She has described parenthood as her hoped-for “next starring role.”
The arrival of their first child comes after a period of relative privacy for the couple. Gaga largely stepped out of the public eye following the conclusion of her Mayhem Ball world tour earlier in 2026, fueling speculation among fans about her personal life.
Known affectionately by fans as “Mother Monster,” Gaga now steps into a new chapter as a first-time parent alongside her longtime partner. The couple is expected to continue keeping details of their growing family private for the time being.
