Nigerian billionaire businessman and philanthropist Tony Elumelu has gifted Afrobeats star Zlatan Ibile and his wife Davita wedding presents as the couple celebrated their traditional union over the weekend.
Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Raphael, shared images of the gifts on his Instagram story on Monday. The packages, wrapped in white paper and clearly labelled “Zlatan” and “Our Wife,” came with compliment cards from Heirs Holdings. Handwritten notes read “Congrats!” and “Well Done,” signed “TOE” by Tony O. Elumelu, CFR, Chairman of Heirs Holdings. Zlatan captioned the post “MR @tonyoelumelu ❤️.”

The gesture comes after Zlatan and Davita (also referred to as Davita Lamai or Davita Omoniyi) held their traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The ceremony, tagged #DTTheUnion, blended Edo and Yoruba cultural elements. The couple first appeared in striking Benin-inspired attire featuring elaborate coral beads before changing into coordinated pastel Yoruba outfits. Zlatan shared photos with captions including “IT’S TIME TO MARRY” and “MR & MRS OMONIYI.”

The event drew a star-studded guest list that included Davido (who served as a groomsman and arrived in a white Rolls-Royce), Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate, influencers such as Enioluwa Adeoluwa, comedians Broda Shaggi and Cute Abiola, and other entertainment figures.
Zlatan and Davita, who share two sons (including Shiloh and Benaiah), had largely kept their relationship private before announcing the traditional wedding date earlier in October via a pre-wedding video narrated by their eldest son. Reports indicate the couple had already held a private civil ceremony earlier.
Elumelu’s gifts add to other notable wedding presents the couple received, including three cows from Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface. Zlatan had previously announced plans to donate some of the cows he received to Nigerians organising genuine weddings, naming ceremonies, or burials.
Tony Elumelu, founder of Heirs Holdings and a prominent advocate for entrepreneurship and African development through the Tony Elumelu Foundation, is known for his philanthropy and support across various sectors. His thoughtful gesture toward the newlyweds has been warmly received by fans following the couple’s joyful celebration.
The packages and personal notes underscore the billionaire’s well-wishes for Zlatan and Davita as they begin this new chapter of their marriage.
