Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama has tested positive to covid19.
He posted the information via his confirmed Twitter handle today, Sunday the 19th of June, 2020.
According to him, he has had three #COVID19 tests in the past, all of which were negative. However, at the first sign of a throat irritation on Saturday, he undertook the 4th test which turned out positive.
Onyeama announced that for that reason, he will be heading to isolation in a health facility.

“Did my fourth covid19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately, this time, it came back positive.
The Foreign Minster added that, “that is life ! Win Some lose some. heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best.
