Hilda Baci, a celebrity chef and restaurateur, received tremendous recognition on social media after a video showed her personally stepping outside her restaurant to invite visitors in for a lunch.
In the now-viral online video, the Guinness World Record icon is seen standing outside My Food by Hilda, calling out to customers with a generous offer.
“Hello… It’s lunchtime. “I’ll give you a discount,” she said, waving at people on the road in an attempt to attract consumers.
Her efforts were quickly rewarded when one man accepted her invitation and stepped into the restaurant, followed by several more, transforming what had begun as a peaceful moment into a continuous flow of customers.
Hilda shared the video online and titled it:
“I mean I did say I’ll do whatever it takes.”
As guests entered the restaurant, Hilda greeted them enthusiastically, saying, “Welcome ma, welcome sir. I am really glad to see you. “Thank you very much!”
At one point, she joked with her media team, saying, “Please don’t look at my client.” “Paparazzi… no, no, no,” she exclaimed, eliciting chuckles from people nearby.
Many social media users were impressed by the chef’s modesty, determination, and hands-on commitment to expanding her business despite her celebrity position.
