A video has shown an aide to Governor Monday Okpebholo, Agogo the Towncrier threatening to deal with Peter Obi and his loyalists in Edo State.
In the video, Okpebholo’s aide is seen telling the Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Monday Agbonika, that he would hand over any member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) found in the state to the police.
He also referred to former presidential candidate, Peter Obi as a “stupid man.”
The footage shows the police commissioner smiling during the exchange, prompting criticism from observers who questioned the appropriateness of the reaction given the nature of the comments.
The aide, who has previously been accused of making threats concerning Peter Obi’s security in the state, walked away after making the remarks in the commissioner’s presence.
