Young Lady harassed by Police (video)

A young lady has appeared in a viral video being harassed and tormented by the police.

The lady was found in the company of her boyfriend, one of police most wanted criminals. When her boyfriend was nabbed, the police tortured him.

They also went to great lengths to taunt, harass and torment the young lady. According to police who handcuffed her, “if I had approached you to be my girlfriend, you would not have minded me. See your life now. What will you do now ?”

It is not yet clear if the police men sexually harassed young lady but she pleaded to be left alone at the time of the report.

Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has directed a probe into the circumstances leading to the inhuman treatment meted out to the the lady.

He condemned the act and directed an immediate comprehensive investigation that would led to the identity of the policemen involved with a view to bring them to justice.

According to him, any member of the force found culpable in the lady’s unwarranted harassment will be visited with the full weight of police sanctions
