Regina Daniels’ younger sister, Destiny Daniels, has reacted to widespread speculation that the Nollywood actress has reconciled with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The rumours gained traction on Saturday, September 5, 2026, after videos and photos circulated online showing Regina at what social media users identified as Nwoko’s residence.
In one widely shared clip from an Instagram Live session hosted by Amir (also referred to as Amid), one of Ned Nwoko’s sons, Regina appeared briefly in the background while interacting with her two sons and her stepson. Upon realising she was on camera, she urged the host to end the broadcast, saying “Cut it, cut it” as she moved away.
The footage quickly fuelled claims that the actress had ended the couple’s months-long marital crisis and returned to the family home. Speculation also extended to claims that Regina was pregnant.
Reacting swiftly on her Instagram Story the same day, Destiny Daniels dismissed the reconciliation narrative and accused netizens of jumping to conclusions based on limited information. She wrote: “Y’all should chill. She was granted a visit to see her children just last night. No, she’s not pregnant either; it’s called putting on weight. She’s still very much single for now.”
Destiny emphasised that the visit was purely parental. Regina’s two sons, Munir Neji Ned-Nwoko (Moon) and Khalifa Chimka Nwaorah, currently reside with their father, and the actress had been granted access to spend time with them. It was not a reunion or a return to the marriage, she stressed.
The clarification comes against the backdrop of the couple’s very public separation that began in October 2025. At the time, Regina cited domestic violence as her reason for leaving the marriage.
Ned Nwoko, for his part, attributed the marital difficulties to what he described as Regina’s struggles with substance use and said efforts to help her seek treatment had been resisted. The pair, who married in 2019, have two sons together.
Neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko has issued a direct public statement on the latest viral video or the subsequent speculation. Destiny’s intervention, however, has sought to put the matter to rest by framing the appearance strictly as a mother visiting her children.
Social media reactions remain mixed. Some users continue to interpret Regina’s presence at the residence as a possible sign of thawing tensions, while others accept Destiny’s explanation that co-parenting arrangements do not equate to marital reconciliation.
