Lagos – Fresh cracks have emerged within the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, openly rejected the outcomes of some House of Representatives primaries conducted last week.
Speaking during the weekly meeting of market leaders and stakeholders at her office in Alausa, Ikeja on Wednesday, Tinubu-Ojo accused certain party leaders of manipulating results in favour of candidates linked to the Justice Forum bloc.
She claimed that aspirants she supported — including Seye Oladejo (Mushin Federal Constituency), Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo (Agege Constituency II), and Olotu Emmanuel Ojo (Ojokoro) — won convincingly but had their mandates allegedly “stolen” and handed over to others.
“I can’t understand how hard work doesn’t pay in politics,” she allegedly said, while calling for the immediate disbandment of the Justice Forum and Mandate Movement groups, which she accused of undermining the will of party members and market stakeholders.
Tinubu-Ojo warned that she is ready to mobilize protests if the alleged irregularities are not investigated and corrected before the final ratification of the results. She urged both Lagos State and national APC leaders to intervene swiftly to ensure justice and fairness.
This development has sparked fresh tension in Lagos APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, highlighting long-standing factional rivalries within the party.
As of now, the Lagos APC leadership is yet to issue an official response to her claims.
The story is still developing.
