The internet has been abuzz after a private aircraft missed its runway at Asaba Airport and literally landed on a road under construction in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria.
According to new reports coming in from TheCable, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has linked the aircraft to Dunamis International Gospel Centre (Pastor Paul Enenche).

After sitting on the road for 3 hours, the plane allegedly took off and flew back to Lagos WITHOUT regulatory clearance. Air Traffic Control wasn’t even notified until it was already in the air
There are reports that the Federal Government has arrested an “overage pilot” connected to the incident. The plane was reportedly on a non-commercial permit (PNCF), meaning it wasn’t supposed to be used for private charters.
The NCAA has already suspended the permit, grounded the plane in Lagos, and launched a massive investigation. This is a whole national security conversation!
What is really going on here? How does a whole aircraft take off from a construction site without clearance?
