The terrorists who attacked three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State and abducted about 45 pupils and teachers have released a new video where they clarified their demands.
In the new video, the principal of one of the schools, Mrs. Alamu described the demands currently trending online as false.
She said, “ Hello Everyone, I have come to make some clarifications, today makes it 24th day we have been in this place and it seems that some people are making our case completed already.”
Mrs Alamu said that the terrorists showed them copies of the alleged demands, such as the release of some fighters, payment of a billion naira and the implementation of Sharia law.
The incarcerated principal lamented that the continuous spread of the alleged demands is complicating their situation.
She said, “They are not asking for Sharia law, they are not asking for money, the single thing they are asking for is the release of their people”
Mrs Alamu continued, “They are not asking for Sharia law, they are not asking for weapons, they are not asking for money, all they are asking for is the release of some people and negotiation, don’t play politics with our lives. “
