My brother/sister, this your Lagos Sunday survival post hit different!
I feel the pain—NEPA, fuel, pressure, data wey turn to air.

Life for Lagos na real endurance test. But we go survive by God’s grace and small sense.
Water matter: If NEPA no bring light, use the small water wisely. Morning sponge bath with one bucket, no dey waste am. Rainy season dey come—get bucket or drum ready to harvest pure water from heaven. Filter am well o.
No fuel for gen? Charge your power bank and phone whenever light show face, even if na 2am. Use solar lantern or small solar charger if you fit buy one cheap. Candles and rechargeable lamps na life saver.
Church palaver: If you no get strength or money, no k!ll yourself. God dey everywhere—do small personal devotion, worship music for phone, or join free online service wey no need plenty data (use WiFi if neighbor get).
Some churches even get outdoor programs or community help sometimes. The main thing na your heart, not the building fund.
Food & Money: Cook once and manage am. Garri, beans, plantain, egg—cheap combos wey go last. If money tight, check market for Sunday evening when some sellers dey rush sell cheap to clear stock. Avoid impulse buy.
Rest well: Use Sunday to genuinely rest. No dey chase every “hustle”. Walk around your area, chat with neighbors (community spirit dey help), or sleep well. Body na your first investment.
Data & Entertainment: Switch to low data mode or use apps wey fit offline (download messages or sermons before). Or just disconnect small—Lagos noise too much already.
Mind & Spirit: These times hard, but prayer, small exercise, and gratitude still work. Many dey face the same thing—help one person if you fit, e go bounce back.
We all need God true true, but Him no dey inside only big AC church wey people dey suffer to maintain. Him dey with you for that your room too.
Make we dey push. Tomorrow Monday go better.
Wetin you go do today to survive this Sunday?
Share more, make we brainstorm.
E go better, Lagos!
