Nigerian content creator and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced that he and his wife, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata (better known as Jarvis), have relocated from Nigeria to Canada to pursue their education.
In a widely shared Instagram post written in his characteristic all-caps style, Peller declared: “WE DON RELOCATE FROM NIGERIA BYE BYE WE’RE GOING TO SCHOOL IN CANADA! CANADA, HERE WE COME, PELLER.”
He indicated that the move would require him to step away from regular streaming activities for a significant period, with a possible return only sometime next year.
Photos shared from the flight showed the couple departing Nigeria. Accompanying one set of images was a longer, more reflective message in which Peller wrote: “Good bye Nigeria, they think they know what I’m capable of, but they’ve only seen the beginning. I move with patience, I think differently, and I’m always steps ahead. The future is now, and I’ve already built mine. What’s coming next is bigger than what they’re expecting. They’re simply not ready for it.”
The relocation comes weeks after the couple’s highly publicised wedding celebrations. They completed traditional marriage rites in Benin City in June 2026, followed by a civil wedding and a white wedding in early August. Their relationship, which began through TikTok livestreams, has remained highly public throughout.
The move aligns with earlier statements the couple made about education. In August 2026, during a livestream, Peller revealed plans to sponsor Jarvis for a Master’s degree in Canada. He noted that he does not hold a university degree himself and wanted her to gain a higher qualification so she could represent them academically. Jarvis, who already holds a degree in accounting, responded that he should also pursue further studies, and Peller agreed he planned to do so after her programme.
Peller has previously spoken about his own interrupted academic journey, saying he paid over ₦2 million for a university programme he later abandoned after the institution allegedly did not allow him to stream classes as promised. He has repeatedly expressed a desire to return to school and eventually hold a degree alongside Jarvis and their future children.
The announcement has generated significant reaction among Peller’s large online following, known as his “flowers.” Many congratulated the couple and wished them success, while others speculated about additional reasons for the timing of the move, including unverified reports linking it to Jarvis possibly being pregnant and hopes of having a child born in Canada. Neither Peller nor Jarvis has publicly addressed the pregnancy rumours.
In related posts shared during the journey, Peller was also seen gifting Jarvis a high-end iPad valued at around £1,495 while in transit, playfully instructing her to address him as “Odogwu.” Fans interpreted the gesture as a continuation of the couple’s public displays of affection amid their new chapter abroad.
Peller rose to prominence through lively TikTok and Instagram livestreams that blended humour, banter, and personal storytelling. His decision to prioritise education marks a notable shift after years of building a career that has made him one of Nigeria’s most-watched online personalities. Fans will now wait to see how life in Canada and academic pursuits reshape the couple’s content and public presence when they eventually return to regular streaming.
