Late popular Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s P A, Sunny Pee has taken to social media to share the screenshot of a private chat she sent him days before her death.
The singer who has graced many church ministrations and is credited for many more Igbo praise and worship songs, died on Friday after being on life support for 5 days.
Some of her friends and colleagues revealed that contrary to what many believed, that she died of throat cancer, she actually died from the physical abuse she suffered from her husband.
The claims were heightened by her fellow Gospel singer, Frank Edward who insisted that she was murded by an “unreasonable” man.
Frank Edwards added that they did everything to stop the beatings, but to no avail. He noted that a lot of people advised Osinachi to leave, but she stayed, letting her husband control which event she goes to minister in and collects all the money she makes.
Taking to social media, Sunny Pee, the late singer’s P A shared his last conversation with her.
In the screenshot of the private chat, the mother of four could be seen pleading with him to tell her how to go about her recording her music without her husband knowing about it.
She added that she had many songs, and needed the help of her producers.
He maintained that she had continuously pleaded with Osinachi to leave the marriage but she kept making excuses.
