My Reaction When Imade Took Davido’s Surname – Sophia Momodu

Popular musician, Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu has revealed how she felt when her daughter, Imade took on Davido’s surname instead of hers.

According to her, she burst into tears when Imade took ‘Adeleke’ instead of ‘Momodu’ which is her own surname.

She disclosed this in her Instastory on Tuesday when she reacted to a post about children bearing their mothers’ names.

According to the 33-year-old mother, she wept bitterly because her daughter could not bear her (Sophia’s) last name and that got her really distraught.

According to Sophia, “I remember my mom and aunties laughing at me when I was crying because my daughter’s last name wasn’t going to be Momodu St

“I was genuinely distraught I’ll I was even arguing and everything that they put her fathers’ full names and not a single letter from mine.,
