Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, sparked reactions after being asked to leave the Alake’s palace in Abeokuta during a recent visit.
The incident happened as part of his ongoing tour across different states in Nigeria, where he has been meeting fans and visiting major locations.
The content creator equally stirred controversy with his visit to the palace of the Oba of Benin. There were allegations that the palace chiefs did not authorize his visit even if he showed proof that they did. The incident resulted in the suspension of one of the queens and some palace chiefs.
In a video that has spread online, a man believed to be a chief in the palace of the Alake of Egbaland appeared unhappy with the way Peller and his team entered the palace.
The video showed rising tension as concerns were raised about their presence within the premises.
Moments later, the situation changed as individuals believed to be palace officials directed Peller and his entourage to leave the palace.
They complied immediately and exited the premises without further resistance.
