A video that has gone viral on social media shows a group of supporters, allegedly hired for an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign, expressing strong dissatisfaction after being paid just ₦1,500 each for an entire day of dancing and campaigning for the party.
The footage, originally shared on TikTok and widely reported on September 1, 2026, shows several individuals wearing green APC campaign T-shirts featuring the image of President Bola Tinubu.
In the clip, the participants voice their frustration over the payment, which they describe as inadequate given the long hours spent supporting the party’s activities.
One of the men in the video is heard saying: “It’s okay, I follow do advertisement. One thousand five hundred naira for what? Family man?” Other participants can also be heard expressing disappointment and bitterness about the amount received after a full day’s work.
