Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has reportedly been hospitalised following an alleged assault incident involving her father in Abuja.
According to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, Emmanuel Odiniya, father of the reality TV star, was arrested after police responded to a distress call from Royal Anchor Estate in Wuye, Abuja, in the early hours of Saturday.
Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed that officers arrived at the residence after reports of an ongoing physical assault involving Ilebaye. Authorities reportedly faced difficulty gaining access into the compound because the gate was locked, before eventually entering the premises around 2:30 a.m.
The police said Ilebaye was found with visible bruises alongside her brothers and was immediately rushed to NNPC Hospital in Abuja for medical treatment.
Her father is currently in police custody while investigations continue to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The incident followed widespread concern on social media after the BBNaija star appeared in an emotional livestream crying for help during the alleged assault, with many fans demanding urgent intervention from authorities.
