Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has declared that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke belongs to his political camp and is fully supporting President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking with journalists on Friday during an inspection of projects in Abuja, Wike said Adeleke’s recent visits to both the President and himself confirmed the governor’s political allegiance.

“Adeleke belongs to us, and we all belong to Mr President. Thank you, brother,” Wike stated.
He added that the political realignment ahead of the 2027 general elections was still unfolding and that more groups would soon join the emerging alliance.
“And so, we went to bed last night and encouraged ourselves to continue. And the next few weeks, watch what is going to happen. You will see a larger rainbow coalition in this country supporting Mr President,” the minister said.
Wike described the alliance as a “Rainbow Coalition” that cuts across party lines, noting that while he and Adeleke belong to different political platforms, they are united in their support for Tinubu.
The comments came a day after Adeleke visited Wike in Abuja and presented his Certificate of Return following his victory in the August 15 Osun State governorship election. The governor had earlier met President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
Wike also dismissed claims by members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that they helped Adeleke secure re-election, insisting the governor is now firmly aligned with the camp supporting the President.
The FCT minister maintained that the 2027 election would be decisive and that the growing coalition around Tinubu would make the contest easier for the incumbent.
