The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed that all students abducted from the Nasarawa State University have been successfully rescued and reunited with their families.
In a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, the police attributed the successful outcome to the professionalism, resilience, and dedication of its operatives.

The rescued students are currently receiving medical attention and necessary support following their ordeal.
Additionally, sustained intelligence-led operations and coordinated tactical efforts by the Command and sister agencies have led to the arrest of two suspected kidnappers linked to the incident.
Efforts are ongoing to track down and apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate who are still at large.
The Commissioner of Police, Shetima Jauro Mohammed, expressed appreciation to members of the public whose timely information and cooperation played a significant role in the success of the operation.
