Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke (of the Accord Party) has been named the campaign coordinator for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid in Osun State, as part of the revised All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
This was announced in the expanded/revised list released around October 13, 2026.

The council is scheduled for inauguration by Tinubu on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Key details:
- Adeleke, who won re-election as Osun governor in August 2026 under the Accord Party (defeating the APC candidate), will coordinate Tinubu’s campaign efforts in the state despite not being an APC member.
- Similar cross-party appointments include Nyesom Wike (PDP, FCT Minister) as coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT, and Chukwuma Soludo (APGA, Anambra Governor) as coordinator for Anambra.
- In some reports, Adegboyega Oyetola (former Osun governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy) was shifted to a deputy national coordinator role for stakeholders’ mobilisation in the South-West, with Adeleke taking the Osun state coordinator position (earlier lists had assigned it differently). Former Osun figures like Chief Bisi Akande and Senator Iyiola Omisore were listed as advisers.
Adeleke’s camp (Imole Campaign Council, led by Senator Olalere Oyewumi) welcomed the appointment and pledged to mobilise 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in Osun for the 2027 presidential election, saying the Accord Party structure in the state would support the effort.
This reflects broader political realignments and cross-party support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
