Comfort Emmanson’s father has demanded compensation for his daughter after clips of her private body parts went viral on social media.
The incident happened during Emmanson’s altercation with Ibom Air officials.
In his first public reaction, Emmanson’s father demanded for justice, saying the humiliation of his daughter and the damage done to his family’s image must be corrected.
He expressed deep dissatisfaction over the way the incident was handled, stating that the treatment his daughter received left her stripped in public and disgraced before the world.
According to him, the ordeal has caused pain not just to his daughter but to the entire family, who have had to live with the shame and trauma.
The father, who said he struggled to train his daughter, described the incident as unjust and unacceptable.
He asked why such treatment would be meted out to her, stressing that she committed no crime.
He added that the family’s name had been tarnished and insisted that those responsible must pay for the harm caused.
He said, “I don’t know why it would have happened that way. Is it because I don’t have money? I don’t know how these people are going to pay my bills. They just rubbished us. They tarnished our image. I’m not feeling myself and I don’t feel like eating anything. They strip my child naked, and she didn’t steal. Compensation must be paid….”
