Police Commence Investigation into Video of Woman Feeding Baby with Alcohol

The Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigation into a disturbing video showing a woman giving alcohol to a baby.

The viral clip showed the woman believed to be the child’s mother, feeding the little boy an alcoholic drink.

According to the woman, she gave the child alcohol to help him sleep at night.

Reacting to the video, the police, in a statement on X, urged anyone with useful information that could help in tracking down the woman to reach out.

The statement reads: “We are aware of this distressing video and are investigating urgently. Exposing a child to alcohol is illegal and dangerous. We urge #ChuksEricE and any member of the public with valuable information that could lead to the swift apprehension of this “mother” to not hesitate to provide same. They can reach out to us on 09169967000. The child’s safety is our priority.”
