Okada Riders on Rampage in Lagos

Okada Riders are currently on rampage in Lagos.


Keke NAPEP riders are also not left out of the melé. Burn fires have been used to barricade some major streets.

Gunshots could also be heard while Tribune reports some casualties.

 

This follows the ban on the mode of transport by the Lagos State government.

Our team at the Ijora-Iganmu area say that Police and other security personnel are working to contain the situation.

Police personnel have also been deployed to the area to stem a total security breakdown.

Their mission, according to one of them is also to avoid the violent protests from rapidly spreading to other parts of the state.
