The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has supplied equipment to Nollywood to shoot a new film, ‘Eagle Wings.’

The movie is a follow-through on a collaboration between Nollywood, and the military.

Starring are Enyinna Nwigwe and Femi Jacobs as well as other notable actors. They were seen on location in camouflage uniforms being coached on how to handle sophisticated rifles and armoured vehicles.

Paul Apel-Papel, the and director of the film, on Wednesday, commended the Nigerian Air Force for supplying equipment and logistics for the much anticipated military themed movie. He said the collaboration will help showcase the workings of the military through the motion picture.

According to Apel-Papel,

“The ultimate goal of this movie is to show to Nigerians the efforts of this service in nation-building and for us also to know what they go through and the sacrifices they make,” Apel-Papel said.

“The officers themselves, the soldiers and their families and friends and that is basically what the story is about.

“The plot is about three brilliant course mates who are also best friends and are faced with a challenge in the course of doing their work and ended up rescuing a whole community.

“We put all these resources together to, first of all, tell a story that will draw the kind of emotions we expect and drive home the kind of message we want to reach Nigerians and beyond.”

The movie is shooting mainly in Abuja, Kaduna, Borno.
