Nigeria takes Solace in the Comedy Side of Covid-19

"LOL" Coronavirus Pandemic

Nigeria has taken solace in the comedy side of covid-19, a plague that aims to drain the laughter out of mankind.

As with every aspect of the average Nigerian’s life, recreation, war, fear, sickness or religion, the Nigerian finds something to laugh about.

Covid-19 is no exception even if no one knows how much havoc lies ahead. The catastrophe may be unfolding uninhibited but the Nigerian says “I can’t kill myself o, allow me to flex o…”

Once this is over, God willing, a film producer may actually release a series.

The following clips show how Nigeria takes solace in the comedy side of the chaos:

They say we should wash our hands:

Dear African Leaders, In our traditional African Society,If you tell someone to wash his hands,it’s not just for hygiene but to also give him food. Just reminding you of the last one. Senator Shehu Sani

They say we should stay home:

…and someone got the Queen prepared…

Colodia drive us:

Senator !!!

Mum’s office says work from home and deliver on all deadlines. 4 restless and chatty daughters message up the kitchen, loo role, bedrooms and livingroom. What would you do after cleaning up the mess and bathing all 4 girls ?

3 young boys are locked up in the house because government says stay away from school until further notice.

Mum and dad are at work so no one to slow them down. First time ever to be locked indoors unsupervised, first day of the experiment and they turn the livingroom to a football pitch. Daddy’s half a million naira brand new smart TV is gone !

Sad thing is there’re no spare parts for this spec because it only just hit the shops.
