JUST IN ! Sunday Igboho’s Residence Attacked, Many Abducted (video)

Sunday Igboho’s residence, the Yoruba Nation agitator was attacked by a yet to be identified assailants in the early hours of Thursday, 1st of July.

The attack has been confirmed by his media aides, Oluyomi Koiki and Dapo Salami.

Adewale Osifeso, Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State said he has been briefed but would investigate the incident.

The unknown assailants are reported to have laid siege on the residence at about 2:00am on Thursday morning with heavy gunfire.

The operation left walls and vehicles in the premises riddled with bullets and many of the occupants seriously injured.

Some of the occupants of the residence were seriously injured leaving pools of blood everywhere while the assailants are said to be dressed in military camouflage.

Two are reported dead. Oluyomi Koiki, Sunday Igboho told Punch Newspapers that, “I can confirm that those who came are definitely Nigerian soldiers. There are more than 100 soldiers that but he (Sunday Igboho) is currently safe.“

Punch reports further that “Vehicles destroyed, house trashed during attack on Sunday Igboho’s House… a trail of blood was observed on the floor and windows of at least two vehicles were shattered.”

Earlier in January 2021, one of the freedom fighters’s houses was also attacked and set ablaze by men suspected to be hoodlums.

Another attacked happened in April at his Soka residence. The recent attack comes only 2 days to a mega rally scheduled for Lagos.
