A video has emerged showing the moment operatives of the Nigeria Police Force rescued Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, alive after they were abducted in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The victims were rescued during a late-night operation carried out around 7:30 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

In a video shared on X by the media aide to the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, Police operatives were seen storming the apartment the victims were kept.
Mrs John-Paul is the younger sister of a former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.
A police source who spoke with Channels TV said two suspected kidnappers were killed during a gun duel with operatives.
Two firearms were also reportedly recovered from the gang.
According to the source, sustained intelligence tracking and tactical pressure forced the kidnappers into a confrontation with security operatives, leading to the rescue of the victims.
The source added that security operatives were still combing nearby areas for fleeing members of the kidnapping syndicate.
Some of the fleeing suspects were believed to have escaped with gunshot wounds.
