Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Friday publicly celebrated his wife, Erelu Abeni Ngozi Adeleke, as she marked her birthday, describing her as a compassionate mother, a woman of service, and an invaluable partner whose strength and prayers have sustained their family.
In a heartfelt message shared on his official X handle, the governor poured out affection and gratitude, highlighting both her personal virtues and her public contributions through humanitarian work.

“Today, I celebrate my dear wife, Erelu Abeni Ngozi Adeleke, on the occasion of her birthday,” Adeleke wrote. “I celebrate you for all you do, a compassionate mother, a woman of service, and a partner whose strength, prayers and unwavering support have been invaluable to me and our family.
“I am grateful to Almighty God for the gift of your life and for the many lives you continue to touch through your humanitarian work with the Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation, as well as your commitment to women, the vulnerable and community development.
“May God bless you with good health, abundant joy and many more beautiful years. May your light continue to shine brightly, and may you continue to be a blessing to our family and humanity.”
Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, who is of Igbo origin, has long been recognised for her philanthropic efforts through the Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation. The foundation focuses on supporting women, vulnerable groups, and community development initiatives across Osun State and beyond.
She also holds traditional titles, including Erelu Asoludero of Erinmo Kingdom, and has been honoured as a United Nations Peace Ambassador.
The governor’s tribute comes as a public affirmation of her role not only as a supportive spouse and mother but also as an active contributor to social impact programmes that complement the administration’s broader agenda.
Supporters and well-wishers flooded social media with congratulatory messages, praising Erelu Ngozi for her quiet strength and commitment to uplifting others. The birthday message has been widely shared, reflecting the warm public reception of the First Family’s personal milestones.
Governor Adeleke has previously celebrated his wives with similar public tributes, underscoring the importance he places on family.
