Federal Civil Servants on Grade Level 14 to Fully Resume Work

Federal civil servants on grade levels 14 and above and those on essential services have been directed to return to work.

Dr Folasade Yemi Esan, Head of Civil Service of the Federation gave the directive in a memo today, 2nd June, 2020.

The affected civil servants are to return to working daily with work hours spanning 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Dr Folasahde Yemi Esan also advised Permanent Secretaries and Chief Executive Officers to abide with measures already contained in previous communiques. Of particular note are the preventive measures discussed in those memos.

The latest information was made available to newsmen today by the Director of Information, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, Olawunmi Ogunmosunle.

Excerpts of the memo:

“The officers are to ensure full compliance with the directives and advice on the provision of the #COVID19 pandemic.

“These measures include maintenance of physical distancing, regular washing and/or sanitising of hands and wearing of masks.

“They are also to limit the number of visitors they receive to the barest minimum and ensure that the visitors comply with safety and health advisories/directives.
