Davido Suspends Wedding With Fiancee, Chioma Indefinitely

Davido has suspended his earlier scheduled wedding with his fiancee, Chioma Avril Rowland also known as Chef Chi.

According to the singer, a new date will be announced when the time is right.

The wedding was planned for July this year but was cancelled due to the #COVID19 pandemic and the restrictions that followed lockdowns across the world.

Speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio Live, he said ” I have decided probably sometime next your or whenever… for ow, I want her to work on her business …Album…kids.

He described how he met Chioma about 7 years ago through his manager, Lati. He however, stated dating her 2 years after.

When Ebuka asked the “Assurance” crooner what attracted him to Chioma, Davido described her as an introvert, an accommodating and caring person. She also won his heart because Davido is convinced she is the only one that he is comfortable leaving all his children with

He also also spoke about losing his mum at the tender age of 10 and th impact the sad event had o his life.
