Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido delivered a high-energy performance that left London fans buzzing on Friday night, then capped the evening with big news for next year.
The singer headlined the “Davido & Friends” show at Crystal Palace Bowl as part of the venue’s summer festival series. The outdoor concert drew a lively crowd eager to hear both his classic hits and newer material.
Supporting acts and guests included Omah Lay, Black Sherif, Gabzy, T x C, Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, Ecool, Fola and Mayorkun, turning the night into a showcase of Afrobeats talent.
Davido earlier billed the Crystal Palace Bowl date as his first-ever UK festival appearance and his only outdoor London show of the summer. It followed a more intimate “A Royal Night in London” performance at the O2 Forum Kentish Town earlier in the week, where he gave fans an early live taste of tracks from his album Oriadé.
After closing out the Crystal Palace Bowl set, Davido shared exciting plans with the audience and later on his Instagram Story: two nights at a London stadium in 2027. The announcement signals his intention to return on an even bigger scale and continues his strong connection with UK audiences.
