Covid19 Pandemic: Federal Government Announces 4th Phase of Lockdown

The Federal Government has announced the 4th phase of the lockdown to storm the rise of covid19 infections.

The National Incident Manager, Mukhtar Muhammed said during a press briefing of the Presidential Steering Committee that the curfew starts from 12:00am to 4:00am on Monday, May 10.

He noted that the decision is part of efforts curtail the further spread of covid19 in the country.

Muhammed added that gatherings of religious groups and weddings have been reduced to 50% attendance while official engagements, meetings and conferences should continue to hold virtually.

He added that effective Tuesday, night clubs, gyms and others would remain closed until further notice.
