Nigerian politician, Ned Nwoko has been asked to step down from his senatorial position over his ongoing marital drama.
The lawmaker has been in the news in the past few weeks with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
Following the incident involving the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy, Nigerians called on Nwoko to resign from the Senate to avoid bringing ridicule to the red chamber.
In her post, Realgina Onu called for Ned Nwoko to step down from his post to allow an independent investigation into allegations of s3xual coercion, unlawful detention, and substance abuse.
Additionally, she called for intervention from the Nigerian Police Force, Ministry of Justice, and human rights organizations to investigate the allegations.
Meanwhile, an old video of Regina Danielsā mother, Rita Daniels, revealing her age has surfaced online, contradicting claims that she married Ned Nwoko at 17.
In the video, Rita Daniels addressed criticism surrounding her daughterās marriage, revealing she was nearly 20 when she married Ned Nwoko.
It would be recalled that Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko tied the knot traditionally on April 25, 2020 in Delta state.
Earlier, Regina Daniels brother, Sweezzy made a shocking claim regarding the circumstances surrounding the d3ath of Ned Nwokoās son.
According to him, Ned Nwokoās son died from heart failure and seizure in the United Kingdom (UK), stemming from excessive drug intake.
