Bishop Oyedepo Demands Reopening Church Service

Bishop Oyedepo demands reopening church services in a video yesterday.

According to the Founder of Living Faith Worldwide Churches, if markets and businesses can be allowed to reopen, why not churches ?

In his words, it is inconceivable “for people to be allowed in the market for 6 hours and can’t be in church for 2 hours, then it is an upside down way of looking at things.

The respected cleric then quoted Ecclesiastes 4:13 which states that ‘Better is a poor and a wise child child than an old and foolish king. “there is more hope for a poor and wise child than for an old foolish king who will no more be admonished.”‘

He then asked that if the government wanted an orderly gathering, “which one is more orderly, the market or the church ? I can smell a rat.”

Bishop David Oyedepo then said that the Lord spoke to him about it. Papa, as he is fondly called worried about church growth. In his words, “behind all this, how do we stop the church from exploding ? All demons have heard, but people that are involved don’t know it.

As Bishop Oyedepo demands reopening of church services he also reminded world leaders that “no civilisation has ever endured without synchronisation in Christ… the forces of darkness are influencing people at various levels because the growth and expansion of the church is the greatest headache of the devil. …But the gates of hell shall not prevail against us.”

Papa stressed that any evil gathering against the church shall surely scatter. To buttress his point, he quoted Isaiah 54:15 which says that ‘Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.’
