Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has long stood as one of the most commercially successful artists in African entertainment, with a career marked by high-value deals, pioneering album pricing, and substantial personal assets.
The singer received $200,000 for the use of his hit track “African Queen” as a soundtrack in the Hollywood film Phat Girlz. In 2005, he signed a $190,000 (then ₦25 million) endorsement deal with Guinness Extra Smooth. Five years later, in 2010, he secured a $130,000 (₦20 million) deal with Airtel.

Over the years he has also landed endorsement partnerships with MTN, Oraimo, Campari, Glo, Partner Mobile, Bama Mayonnaise, Amatem Softgel, Haven Homes, and Pazino Homes and Gardens. He serves as Brand Ambassador for the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF) and as the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s Good Cause Ambassador.
His 2010 project The Unstoppable International Edition made history as the first Nigerian album sold at a retail price of ₦1,000 ($6.70) per copy. Beyond music, 2Baba owns the nightclub Rumors Signature and a ₦400 million duplex in Lekki.
These milestones underscore the commercial scale 2Baba achieved at the height of his career and the enduring brand value he continues to hold in Nigeria and beyond.
