A South African woman, Cherre Kambatta, has expressed her support for wife battery.
According to her, a woman who did not receive home training from her father should allow her husband to discipline her.
According to her, there is nothing wrong with a man beating his wife.
She stated this on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, while reacting to a Facebook post by a Nigerian woman about a developing domestic violence case.“A woman who didn’t receive home training from her papa should allow her husband to discipline her. My husband still disciplines me at this my age too. Men beating their wives is nothing bad,” she wrote.
