Sammy Daniels, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, is alleged to have been arrested by police during a live video broadcast.
The incident happened on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, where Sammy was said to be with a friend when authorities approached.
Viewers of the live session saw the events unfold before the stream abruptly ended.
Details about why the arrest was made remain unclear, and no official statement has been released by either the police or Regina Daniels.
The arrest comes amid a public dispute within the Daniels family.
Regina Daniels, during an Instagram live, alleged that her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, was behind the police action.
She denied allegations that her family stole $40,000 from Nwoko, insisting that he does not keep cash at home.
In earlier developments, Senator Ned Nwoko released records and messages to respond to allegations made by his wife, Regina Daniels.
His team said the evidence includes a WhatsApp message from October 17, medical and therapy records, and staff statements.
The senator’s team rejected claims of domestic abuse, calling them an attempt to shift attention from long-standing health and behaviour concerns.
They said independent toxicology reports showed the presence and misuse of multiple substances, supporting concerns that were raised privately months before the issue became public
