Nigerian rapper 2Shotz has criticized some members of the Igbo community who he accused of supporting the current administration.
Taking to his Instagram page, the rapper expressed his frustration after watching a video from a recent political gathering in Imo State where Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, was reportedly in attendance.
According to 2Shotz, he was shocked and disappointed by the enthusiastic reception given to Seyi Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by some attendees.
In his post, the rapper said he found the display troubling, particularly because the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, remains in detention. He argued that it was contradictory for some people to openly support the government while the separatist leader continues to face legal battles.
2Shotz did not hold back in his criticism, describing those supporting the current administration as misguided. He went further to suggest that, based on the level of support he observed, the APC could still emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
The rapper also issued a warning, stating that if the party wins again and economic hardship continues, people should not turn to him for financial assistance on social media.
His remarks have since sparked widespread debate online, with many social media users sharing mixed reactions to his comments. While some agreed with his stance, others criticized the tone of his message.
