The general overseer and founder of Grace Nation International Church, Pastor Chris Okafor has announced that he will be stepping away from the pulpit.
He said that the break will enable him take a break for a retreat and spend quality time with his newly wedded wife.
The preacher, who was the subject of controversies around December 2025, made this announcement to his followers during the New Year’s Eve service.
Just before he announced his break period, three sisters accused him of getting all of them pregnant at the same time. They added that he has refused to acknowledge or support them with the children’s upkeep.
