Public reactions have trailed news that Comfort Emmanson, a lady who assaulted an Ibom Airline hostess has been remanded in prison.
The announcement is contained in a report published on the official X handle of The Cable on Monday, August 11, 2025.
This comes after the lady was dragged out of the plane by security operatives at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos state. She was removed after slapping and hitting the air hostess.
In the report that surfaced online, Tunde Moshood, the Special Adviser on Media and Communications to Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, stated that Comfort Emmanson has been remanded at the Kirikiri correctional facility centre.
