A Lagos-based Nigerian woman, Sarah Olaomo, has expressed shock and sadness following the tragic d3ath of her neighbour, who is said to have taken her own life over an alleged ₦500,000 debt.
The heartbreaking incident occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026, leaving residents of the area stunned and struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sarah shared her disbelief and emotional distress over the development. According to her, she had interacted with the deceased just a day before the incident.
“Ahh!!!! My neighbour just committed suicide!!! I’m shaking, guys! I saw her yesterday. Just yesterday, I even said hello. Wft Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!” she wrote in a visibly shaken post.
