A 3-storey building has collapsed in the early hours of Thursday, June 3, 2025 in central Lagos leaving many trapped and several injured.
The building located on Asesi Lane around the Adeniji Adele Road went down suddenly.
“Four persons have been rescued from the rubble. They have been taken to hospital,” Lagos State Information Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso said in a Facebook post.
Emergency responders from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and others have since arrived at the incident scene.
A report by LASTMA said that “Our officials have diverted traffic from Zenith back through OBA’s place to make use of Enu owa to their various destinations.“
