Mr Aiyepeku Ayo, a creative photographer in Lokoja, has allegedly been k!lled and butchered by his colleague identified simply as Adebayo.
The incident is said to have happened in their office, not far from Kogi Chieftancy Lodge, close to the government house.
The night before the incident, they were said to be doing editing work.
Adebayo probably thought no one was around as he called Ayo outside the office and hit him on the head, a blow that instantly k!lled him. Reports add that he also butchered his body parts into the fridge behind his Hilux vehicle.
One eyewitness who gave an account of the gory incident said he could not scream when he found out, but called the attention of the police, who said he was given a hot chase but escaped, leaving his dented car behind.
The suspect is married, and his wife recently fled to Abuja after he almost k!!led her.
The suspect is also said to be a staff member of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Lokoja.
