The Facebook post of a young Nigerian graduate, Matthias Yogboh m*rdered by Fulani militia has gone viral.
Yogboh was k!lled in a fresh attack on Aondona community in Benue State.
Popularly known as Jagaban, was a graduate of Religious Education from the University of Calabar.
His d3ath has sparked widespread outrage and sorrow, particularly after a Facebook post he made just weeks before his k!lling resurfaced online.
In the April 20 post, Yogboh wrote: “Help me look for a better wife to marry before Fulani k!ll me, making me d!e as a childless person.”
Local sources report that Yogboh was k!lled during a violent raid by armed herdsmen, part of an ongoing wave of attacks that have continued to plague agrarian communities across Benue.
Reacting to the incident, human rights activist Ukan Kurugh described his d3ath as tragic.
In a tribute, he wrote: “He once shared his fears… now he’s gone. Not long ago, he voiced his deepest fear — the threat of Fulani terrorist herdsmen. Tragically, that fear became his reality.
“They took him from us. A voice silenced. A life cut short. A family shattered. Rest in peace, dear brother. You didn’t deserve this.”
