An ex-choir member of the church presided over by pastor Chris Okafor has surfaced to describe her relationship with the cleric.
She recounted how Okafor first lured her into his bed with N50,000 and 2 red apples.
The lady who identified herself as Ebere claimed she was only 22 when the pastor started dating her with a promise to marry her. While that was going on, she allegedly got pregnant at least 5 times and he coerced her to terminate each of them.
She added that she again got pregnant afterwards but refused to abort it as she was scared, having done so many already. Ebere added that in all of that, he reneged on his promise to marry her, denied her baby who appears challenged and has not given any support whatsoever.
In a trending video, the young lady said: “My name is Ebere and today the world is hearing my voice. An injustice and a plot is going on so I need to speak out.
I’ve spoken I’m secret, I’ve called, I’ve begged for him to be involved but Chris okafor insults me instead.”
“I was just on my own not even interested at all. Not looking at his side. Of course I’m the one they are talking about as a choir member. One day he called me out giving me prophesy that there’s a very big sickness coming to my mum. This was around 2013/2014. This was before demolishing and rebuilding of the church building. He removed mic from his mouth and spoke in my ear saying,
” what am I thinking about him in my mind?”
Before u could respond he said meet pastor Sylvester let him bring you to my office. He is the resident pastor.
“So I went to Pastor Sylvester and told him that, ” papa wants to see me, he said you should bring me to his office.”
“So he took me there, that day Chris, gave me an envelope with money. I did nothing for him to be paid for any reason so I just felt well, that’s my papa appreciating me. We didn’t discuss anything!”
“One night in December 25th 2015, there was man called Pastor David Igbano I was supposed to marry but things didn’t work out. That day David called me asking me where I am that papa called him asking of me that I should meet him in church. This was late in the night around 8 or 9 pm. He said I should go on time that papa wants to see me.”
“By the time I got to the church, Pastor Sylvester the resident pastor was waiting for me. I told him Barr called me and told me papa wants to see me. He said I should enter the car. He drove me to his house. I kept asking him, “what happened?
” what happened ?”
He said I should be patient till we get there.”
