An Ikorodu High Court has ordered three separate DNA tests to be carried out abroad to determine the paternity of Liam, the son of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
The court gave the new directive after earlier plans to conduct a DNA test stalled, causing delays in resolving the disagreement between Mohbadās family and his widow.

Mohbadās father, Joseph Aloba, appeared in court with his lawyer, Oladayo Ogungbe, who explained that the initial court-approved process could not move forward due to issues linked to the suitability of the testing centre.
Ogungbe told the court that a fresh arrangement was made to avoid further disputes and ensure trust in the outcome.
Under the new order, three laboratories outside Nigeria will handle the tests.
Each party involved in the case will choose one laboratory, while the court will select the third.
He added that the DNA tests will be done using tissue samples and that all three results must match before the court accepts the outcome.
According to him, this approach has always been the position of Mohbadās family, as they want a clear and unquestionable result.
Ogungbe also stated that Joseph Aloba will not pay for the DNA tests.
He said all parties will be present when samples are collected to rule out any form of interference.
Mohbadās father welcomed the ruling and said he was comfortable with the process outlined by the court.
While Mohbadās widow, Wunmi, has continued to state that Liam is the biological son of the late singer, his father has maintained that a DNA test is needed to clear all doubts.
The courtās decision is expected to bring a final resolution to the paternity dispute that has lingered for months.
